The Ziheri tribe originates from the far northeast of modern-day Syria, historically part of Western Kurdistan. Their homeland includes areas such as the village of “Derika ber Ave,” located near the city of Dêrik (which was renamed “al-Malikiyah” under Syria’s Arabization policies imposed by the dictatorship).
The Family has historically been active in various fields including trade and horse breeding, and in more recent times, agriculture and construction materials.
Believing in the importance of cultural and civilizational exchange among nations, this page was launched to document and strengthen the connection between the peoples of the region and the world.
Kurdî (Kurmanji):
Bi xêr hatin rûpela fermî ya êşîreta kurdî ya Ziheri. Bi rêya vê rûpelê, em hewl didin ku pênûsa têkilî û hebûna çandî biafirînin û wê bi we re di cîhana dijîtal de parve bikin.
Êşîreta Ziheri ji herêma herî bakur rojhilatê Sûriyê ya nû (li herêmên Kurdistana Rojavayê yên kevn) hatine. Welat û gundê wan “Derika ber Ave” ne, ku li nêzî bajêrê Dêrikê ye (pêşî ku desthilatdariya diktatorî ya Sûriyê navê herêma bi “al-Malikiyah” zêde kir).
Êşîr di çend qada cihê de bi xebat bûye, wekî bazirganiyê, perwerdeya hespan; û di serdema nû de jî bi cotkarî û materyalên avahiyan.
Bi baweriyek mezin a li guhertoya çandî û çandên neteweyî, vê rûpelê hate vekirin da ku têkiliyên di navbera gelên herêma û cîhanê de were belav kirin û belav bibe.
